Hub helps Clowes Developments secure planning permission in Cheshire
Hub Transport Planning is delighted to have helped Clowes Developments secure planning consent for a retail centre in Cheshire.
The property group has received planning consent from Cheshire East Council for an Aldi UK store, Starbucks Drive Thru and additional retail unit at Viking Park in Congleton.
Hub Transport Planning were part of the design team for this latest phase of the Viking Park scheme, advising on the access and layout proposals.
In line with infrastructure design guidance LTN 1/20, our proposals included accessibility for customers in cars as well as active travel modes – walking, cycling, and wheeling.
Construction began on Viking Park in 2023. When complete, it will be a mixed-use development that will comprise new homes, shops, offices and industrial space.
