Graduate Transport Planner

We are looking to recruit candidates with a relevant Bachelor’s degree and/or Master’s degree, e.g. Transport Planning/Engineering, Geography, Civil Engineering, Planning or Economics.

An interest in transport planning/highways via modules studied would be welcomed.

You will work across a range of projects with opportunities to progress and targeted support towards achieving relevant professional qualifications.

Senior/Principal Transport Planner

We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a minimum of five years’ experience in a private sector consultancy environment, project management skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as an ability to demonstrate:

  • Experience of producing Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and Travel Plans;
  • Experience of providing access feasibility advice;
  • Detailed knowledge of, and the ability to apply appropriate design guidance, i.e. MfS, MfS2, DMRB;
  • Experience in the use of relevant software, particularly Junctions 9 and LinSig;
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft software, i.e. Word, Excel, Powerpoint; and
  • Knowledge of the planning process across the UK.
