Planning success in Cambridgeshire

Development in March, Cambridgeshire

Hub Transport Planning is delighted to have helped land promoter Richborough Estates secure a resolution to grant outline planning permission for a new residential development.

The plans for the development off Princess Avenue in March, Cambridgeshire include up to 125 homes, 20% on-site affordable housing provision, with a central green, public open space and a children’s play area.

Congratulations to our associate director James Corbett for his work on this project, which included the provision of a Transport Assessment and Travel Plan to support the application.

James also worked proactively with the Local Highway Authority (LHA) to overcome a holding objection in response to the application. This saw James reacting quickly to the LHA’s requests to ensure the objection could be lifted the day before the planning committee.

James said: “We’re committed to getting the best outcome for our clients and I’m delighted to have helped Richborough Estates achieve this planning success.

“We look forward to seeing the development come to life and providing much needed new homes and a great place to live.”
