Max Law promoted to Senior Transport Planner

Max Law

Max Law has been promoted to Senior Transport Planner in recognition of his talent and commitment to Hub Transport Planning.

Max joined us as a graduate transport planner in October 2020, in his first role after leaving the University of Birmingham with a degree in Geography.

Since then, he has become an integral part of the team, advising on a variety of transport solutions that have helped clients secure planning permission and successfully deliver new residential and commercial developments.

His new role will see him take more responsibility and share his experience and support with our graduate transport planners James Walker and Connor Read, who joined us in November 2021 and July 2022 respectively.

Max’s promotion comes as we settle into our new offices at 4 Temple Row in Birmingham City Centre, located within walking distance of many of our clients.

Max said: “I’m really pleased to be taking the next step up at Hub. I like working here because it’s small, hands on and I get involved with a huge range of projects alongside the directors, which has been beneficial for my development.

“We have an impressive client base, and the work ranges from small projects such as designing truck stops to designing and testing new access junctions for very large residential developments. I get real satisfaction seeing the changes built out.

“Our new Birmingham city centre office is brilliant too. It’s modern, open plan and close to everything we need. I’m originally from Tunbridge Wells but didn’t want to return after I finished university as I love the city and the people here.”

Gerard McKinney, director at Hub Transport Planning, added: “Max is such a fantastic addition to our team. This promotion reflects his intelligent approach to problem solving, energy and motivation, willingness to take on additional roles and responsibilities, and his outward facing outlook – clients and fellow workers love him!”
