Hub helps secure planning permission for residential scheme

Transport planning advice at Rearsby

We're pleased to have helped Clarendon Land & Development Ltd secure a resolution to grant outline planning permission for a new residential scheme at Rearsby, Leicestershire.

Up to 65 homes, green space, play area and a circular pedestrian and cycle route are planned for the 8.3 acre site located south of Gaddesby Lane.

James Corbett, associate director James Corbett at Hub Transport Planning, provided transport advice, which included:

  • Access Appraisal: to help promote the site through Charnwood Borough Council's Emerging Local Plan. This resulted in the site receiving a Draft Allocation.
  • Transport Statement and Travel Plan: to support the planning application. This involved liaising closely with Leicestershire County Council as local highway authority to ensure a positive response was received.

It was great to be part of the team which included Fisher German LLP, Aspect Landscape Planning Ltd, RammSanderson Ecology Ltd and nineteen47.
