Hub helps Richborough Estates secure planning permission
We're proud to have helped secure planning consent again for our longstanding land promoter client Richborough Estates. We provided transport planning advice in Coventry for a 58.5 acre site comprising up to 550 residential dwellings.
The site is west of Bennetts Road, Coventry, and forms part of the Keresley Village SUE.
Working with a multi-disciplinary team of consultants, we provided the transport work which included:
- Scoping report, Transport Assessments and Travel Plans; the former incorporating output from the Coventry Area Strategic Model and analysis of 18 junctions across the local highway network.
- Ensuring that a bus service could be provided through the northern site, with internal bus priority measures agreed with the highway authority.
- Initial phase and full development scenarios, taking into account the delivery of a significant section of the Keresley Link Road through the southern site.
- Swept path analysis to ensure that the access junctions and off-site mitigation proposals could accommodate all required vehicle movements.
- Design of LTN 1/20 compliant cycle provision at the site access junctions and throughout the development.
