Green light for new homes in Rothley, Leicestershire

Masterplan Cossington Rothly Leicestershire

We’re delighted that transport planning advice has helped secure another planning permission.

This time it’s for a site north of Cossington Lane, Rothley which has been granted outline consent for a residential development of 40 dwellings.

We initially provided pre-application advice back in 2020, and then subsequently provided the transport advice in support of the application itself.

The biggest technical obstacle in terms of transport was the significant level difference between Cossington Lane and the site. We overcame that through pro-active discussion with the highway authority, and working alongside the wider team, to ensure that appropriate pedestrian connectivity was delivered between the site and the centre of Rothley.

Congratulations to the landowner and the whole project team: Nineteen47, Dice Engineering, Quants Environmental, Hoare Lea and GeoDyne.
